Dick Charles Author Bio

Dick Charles- is a native New Yorker and freelance musician. I consider myself a brass specialist since I perform on and teach the instruments of the brass family, especially the trumpet and trombone. I have a Bachelor degree in music performance as well as a Masters degree in education and a Master degree in education administration. When I am not pursuing my musical interests I have many hobbies including restoring classic automobiles, collecting toys and reading about military aviation history. I am blessed to live in Long Island New York which has a wealth of aviation history. I frequent the island’s aviation museums on a regular basis. It was on one of these visits where I got the idea for my book U90420. This book has been a long labor of love for me. My teacher’s would always tell me that I was a good at writing, but I was always so involved in music that I never had the time to pursue writing. Now that I am older and have more time on my hands I turn to writing as a venue to let my creativity flow. I share my uniquely decorated home with my wonderful wife Patty and our two Beagles Lady and Tramp.
